Japanese tsumugi cotton fabrics are of exceptional quality and their distinctive yet subtle textures give them versatile function. Tsumugi are piece-dyed shot cotton with the warp thread one colour and the weft thread always black. If you are interested in samples of these fifteen fabrics please send a stamped self addressed envelope and we will happily send them to you as the tsumugi colours can vary slightly on screens.
