only done one star's sashiko, but already enjoying. not looking forward to the star points-but will keep calm and persevere.

Easy start to Sashiko
These Sashiko Christmas Stars are a great way to introduce Sashiko embroidery to adults or children. The Kit has everything you need but the filling.. Children may need a little help by pre-cutting the backing fabric and also turning sewn star inside out using a chopstick before filling it. If glue is not available I suggest sewing cut fabric together and adding a red button .over the small cut in the backing fabric. I also discovered as I had pad of A4 Tracing paper that I could photocopy the pattern and cut out the Star shape for children to use a fabric pen on calico and copy the pattern first for a trial run before using the beautiful fabric..
