A spacious, statement tote bag in inky navy blue and white colour scheme. The patchwork of spirited cats, sashiko patterns inspired by steam and fundo/paper weights and traditional Japanese iconography meld together to create a vision of an afternoon spent doing what you love. Inspired by Ms Mimura, designer for Olympus Thread.

BeBeBold's acknowledged riff on Ms Mimura bag
Not finished yet but really enjoying the ride! And this bag is stretching my sashiko/boro and bag making expertise. It's giving the opportunity to think around how you can work with fabric and thread and doing the course as well means that the scaffolding around it is just great. Thank you for the opportunity. This is the best all around learning experience in sashiko/boro I've had.

Love the fabric selection to construct the Tote bag.
I would have liked to know that each fabric will have some left overs as I am creating a little change to a panel or two. Hopefully that is the case.
