Description
The Stepping Stones Quilt is a traditional sashiko tsumugi quilt with a little twist designed by Jane MacDonald which was originally our 2024 Block of the Month which has been very popular!
Jane has kept this quilt design quite simple to show off the 32 traditional blocks, and has also included some easy appliqué. Instructions are also included to show you how to transfer sashiko designs on to the quilt border - an important and easy skill to learn that will enable you to transfer any sashiko pattern that you like.
Pre-stencilled tsumugi cotton fabric is used to make this quilt which is 100% made in Japan.

Requirements:
- backing and wadding

Basic skills in patchwork and quilting are assumed in the instructions.
