The Hanami Quilt is a beautiful sashiko tsumugi quilt designed by Jane MacDonald.
Jane has kept this quilt design quite simple to show off the 44 stitched blocks, based on the traditional daisy and turtle pattern which are stitched using double thread to give it a wonderfully rich look and feel.
Pre-stencilled and plain tsumugi cotton fabric is used to make this quilt. This is a gorgeous fabric, 100% made in Japan as are our superior quality sashiko threads. Backed with sarasa cotton, this will be a wonderful addition to your home.
