The eye of these needles are too small for the sashiko thread as well as being a bit rough. Thank you Jenni for your honest comment and I do understand that they are quite tricky to thread and it took me a little while to master the threading but I truly have to say these are now my preferred sashiko needle as I find the chiselled tip so sharp and wonderful to stitch with. I am sorry that you find them a bit rough but I really hope you give them another go sometime. Regards, Jane MacDonald
