Designed specifically for hitomezashi (one stitch sashiko) this dotted sampler fabric acts as a guide for the design you want to create. Once you have finished all your stitches, the cloth is then washed to reveal the design clear of the stencilled dots. The extensive range of single-coloured and variegated sashiko threads and embroidery threads available enables you to create many unique colour and design variations which can be used to make a variety of items including napkins, placemats or pincushions.
