This is a Sashiko Koinobori Kit designed by Sashiko Lab. It's a kit for creating Sashiko-stitched Koinobori (carp streamers), traditionally flown in Japan to pray for the healthy growth of children.
- The kit includes pre-printed fabric, sashiko needles (long and short), hanging string, wire for the mouth, and sashiko thread for the black and red carp.
- It features straight lines for easier stitching and dotted lines at intersections for precise work.
- The scales have dots for "Hitomezashi" (one-stitch sashiko), allowing for personalized designs.
- Finished sizes are approximately 44cm for the black carp, 40cm for the red carp, and 35cm for the child carp.
- You will need to provide your own thread for the child carp, as well as finishing thread, pins, and scissors.
