Description

The Reversible Boro Box Bag pattern is a design from Jane MacDonald. It features a twirling design of boro inspired stitching and sashiko, however these are optional. The bag is reversible so you can choose different fabrics for each side, as seen in the photos. The bag opens widely in a box-like shape, offering easy access and visibility to what is kept inside, with the drawstring making it quick to close and open.

I love this pattern. I haven’t finished this yet but it’s looking good so far. I’ve used some stitching in the new finer sashiko threads on the plain panels but will use regular thread for the boro. Not sure the fine thread is really suited to this piece but I’ll see when it’s finished!
